Mint grows in temperate regions of Europe and Asia, as well as in the Himalayas, Eastern Siberia, and North America. It is a shrubby herb that grows up to 60 cm tall, with green leaves and tiny, pale purple flowers. It is widely used in toothpastes and mouthwashes.

Mint essential oil is pale yellow in color and has an intense, fresh and slightly bitter-sweet scent. It has a calming, refreshing effect. We can use it as an aid for sore, swollen gums, mouth ulcers or toothache. Peppermint essential oil is excellent for the nervous system, supports the heart and is a good blood cleanser. Mint oil can be mixed with: peppermint, wintergreen, basil, bergamot, cedar, eucalyptus, lemon, lime, tangerine, pine, rosemary, marjoram and thyme.

Use: To fragrance a room, drop a few drops into the water in a diffuser. Similarly, you can add a few drops to a fragrant bath for a more pleasant scent, or sprinkle it on dried flowers, wood, etc., and the oil will slowly evaporate into the room, creating a pleasant aroma.
