Krauterhof warming horse balm - extra strong 250ml

The excellent Krauterhof brand horse ointment or cream with a warming effect for massage contains extracts of red vine leaf, horse chestnut, lemon balm, chamomile, hops, valerian, yarrow, mistletoe, camphor, and anise. It works similarly to cooling horse balm but with a warming effect, which makes it even more effective. The warming effect is very strong a few minutes after application, and the pleasant warmth and heating last for approximately one to two hours. Warming horse balm refreshes strained muscles, invigorates and relaxes, stimulates blood circulation, and has a soothing effect on the entire musculature. It relaxes and provides a feeling of comfort throughout the body - in the muscles, lower back, knees, and other body parts. Horse cream also has a very beneficial effect for deep skin care and for the preventive care of tired legs and feet. By accelerating blood circulation in the skin throughout the body, it reduces the likelihood of injuries due to overexertion, which is why warming horse balm is also very useful and popular before or after sports activities.

Origin and etymology of the names horse cream, horse rub, horse balm or horse ointment: It would be mistaken to think that the composition of horse cream contains or once contained any part of a horse. In the past, horses were very important for survival, so they were cared for to the best of abilities, sometimes even better than people. To prevent a household from suffering too much damage due to a horse's injury or illness, our ancestors developed this special and valuable herbal ointment, which they named horse rub or horse cream. Horses were treated with the cream if they had muscle injuries, tears, sprains, and also respiratory ailments.
Over time, horse cream began to be increasingly used by humans for the care and stimulation of tired limbs and muscles. In recent years, horse cream has been widely used in massage salons as part of pain-relieving massage, and its popularity is also growing among athletes. Did you know that even top athletes have excellent experiences with Krauterhof horse balm?

Usage: Gently rub into the skin on the affected area with a few minutes of massage. In case of severe fatigue or injury, horse cream can also be applied to the affected area 2-3 times a day, preferably in the morning and evening. Krauterhof warming horse balm is suitable for external use only.
