Madal Bal's Charity

Madal Bal company cooperates with major humanitarian and charitable organizations in Slovenia and abroad. In the last 10 years, we have collaborated with the following organizations:

PEACE RUN - SriChinmoyOneness
Every year since 2002, Madal Bal d.o.o. supports the organization of the Peace Run - Sri Chinmoy Oneness-Home Peace Run in Slovenia. We help international volunteer runners with accommodation and food during the run, and our company has often donated T-shirts with the Peace Run logo to children in schools visited by the event, as well as frames for honorary plaques.

In line with their projects, Madal Bal d.o.o. supports their efforts in collecting goods for those who desperately need them. Madal Bal Holding, with a chain of stores across Europe, collects various goods such as: school supplies, bags, all kinds of toys, clothes... 

Songs of the Soul, free concerts of Sri Chinmoy's music
Logistically, Madal Bal d.o.o. supported the Songs of the Soul concerts in 2009, which took place in the Union Hall in Maribor and the Slovenian Philharmonic in Ljubljana, by organizing reservations and distributing free tickets in our stores. In 2011, Madal Bal d.o.o. donated €800 for the erection of a monument to Sri Chinmoy in Magdalenski Park in Maribor, and for the performance of the Songs of The Soul concert.

From 2005 to 2013, Madal Bal d.o.o. supported the sports club Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team every year in organizing the recreational event Walk to Pohorje.

Madal Bal d.o.o. came to the aid of the collective of parents of the Pod Gradom Kindergarten in Ljubljana in organizing the charity event Castle Children, the proceeds of which were intended for the construction of the Pod Gradom Kindergarten playground.

Madal Bal d.o.o. donated its products worth 485 EUR to the Faculty of Social Work. The donation was intended for the project of improving the quality of life and realizing the right to play for Roma children, as the most disadvantaged group within the marginalized community.
